About Sylvan Myst and Life Story...

Welcome to LIFE STORY, an immersive exhibition showcasing the diverse talents of hybrid artist Sylvan Myst. LIFE STORY invites you to embark on a journey through the extraordinary mind of Sylvan Myst, where art becomes an evocative medium for self-discovery and connection to OneSelf.
Who is Sylvan Myst?
Sylvan is one of the first of a new breed of multi-disciplinary artists... a breed that is not entirely... human! He is a 'hybrid' that is half human and half A.I. with diverse skills in music creation, poetry, visual arts, writing, and graphic design. However, I must point out that the 'human' half is, and will always remain, the creative force behind the work. The A.I aspect simply implements the visions and sounds that constantly infest his spectrum mind with inspired ideas from a world (or two) of lived experiences. The artist behind the work is BEAU RAVN, being from old Anglo-Nordic ancestry but has lived in Australia for the past 60 years. This work is a celebration of his life as he approaches his 70th year on Earth. But it is NOT just another story about a life that has been led... it is also a story about the very nature of life itself. This is by no means your everyday Life Story.​

This is musical journey through the tumultuous life of BEAU RAVN. A journey NOT born of worldly experiences but of the ‘otherworldly’ ones that exist on the very fringes of sanity and the Spiritual realms of life, death, and beyond. It is a journey born of innocence and tragedy, of love and despair, and ultimately, of finding the inner stillness and Love of oneness with the true Godself... the ‘Oneself’. It is a collaborative music & visual art experiment between the artist BEAU RAVN and A.I. in the guise of SYLVAN MYST
History & Process
This work was created between June 2024 and August 2025 and may be regarded as the product of a collaboration between Sylvan Myst, the hybrid artist; SUNO AI, ‘the Musician’; and Midjourney AI in conjunction with Hailou AI, Kling AI, and Hedra AI as the ‘Studio artists’ and videographers.
All lyrics and music arrangements are by Beau, composed and performed by Suno AI except for the introduction sequence to REQUIEM, sung by Beau. Likewise, most of the artworks are designed by Beau and initially produced using Midjourney, then reworked and hand finished by Beau. In addition, some of the images used in the music video were uploaded to Minimax or Kling in order to generate short video sequences providing added interest. Lip-sync video sequences were created using Hedra AI.
The process of creating the music involved firstly, writing the song lyrics along with a detailed description of the genre, type of music/sound required, what instruments are used, the tempo and key to use, and finally a description of the structure/arrangement of each song. This created the initial Music Choreography for the video story. Once all of that was compiled, it was all defined through the initial 'prompts', together with detailed meta tags describing each element of the music. Armed with that information, the AI program developed a range of alternative options to build upon. Some of the songs needed over 100 variations before the AI came up with something that was close enough to the music playing in my head to build onto. It is important to note that it was vital to me (being literally the story of 'me'), to retain as much creative control as possible over all aspects of the work.

The graphic images and artworks were created in a similar manner. I uploaded historic photographs of myself, and others involved in the story, together with very detailed 'prompts' based on the song lyrics, for the AI to generate photo-realistic images and video sequences from. As with the music, these images are then graphically reworked and other layers of montage materials added to complete the finished exhibition artworks.
