About the LIFE STORY Video
This video is the heart of the LIFE STORY concept art project from which the book and artworks were created.

It was made between 2023 and September 2025, with this final revised edit being finished in August 2025 for the September exhibition and launch at Serpentine Community Gallery, Lismore NSW, Australia on September 19th.
LIFE STORY began as an intended autobiographical book and evolved into an audiobook that included poetry. Then, around the middle of 2024, I was introduced to Suno AI and quickly discovered that my poetry was well-suited to being reworked as song lyrics. Then, in June/July 2025, the next level version of Suno AI was launched with the ability to not only generate broadcast quality music but also included a lot more creative development options for serious artists to work with. This was exactly what I needed to complete this project. I had no interest in making popular or dance music at all and was far more interested in making art (it's what my whole life has been about) so my music and video work needed to continue that legacy. I set about making a true CONCEPT ALBUM and video using AI as my 'Production Studio. As the work evolved, it even seemed to develop its own 'personality' as part of the deep-learning process. That being the case, I decided not to hide from the fact that I was using AI to develop my art and music (like many pseudo-artists have been doing), but to celebrate it and name it! That day saw the birth of a new alternative identity or alter-ego that I named as being the human/A.I. Hybrid Artist SYLVAN MYST. Life Story is as much 'his' work as it is mine and, as such, bears his name.

The LIFE STORY conceptual soundtrack
The soundtrack music for the video also works very well as a 'Concept Album' in its own right, allowing the listener to fully immerse themselves in the moment as it sweeps through a deep spiritual evolutionary process from one state of being to another. For me, I sometimes like to distance myself from the imagery and enter more of a lucid state where I find myself filling in my own gaps in life to complete my story. The music by itself seems to support that process as it changes and evolves through each musical sequence and movements.

This album is a revisioning of my previous album Life Story as more of a 1960's counter-culture inspired album. It is an Indian/folk rock/indie fusion that is more psychedelic and hypnotic reminiscent of the avant-garde Haight-Ashbury Summer of Love era leading up to Woodstock in 1969. However, this album also has certain EDM undertones bringing into the contemporary alternative music era today.
