Absent WithOut Love (A.W.O.L.)

Absent WithOut Love represents me having the courage to walk out of the army and into my new life of freedom on the road. On one hand I felt that I had brought shame to my family by going A.W.O.L and could not return to them, and on the other I felt that, for the first time in my life, I was finally FREE to simply be ME rather than the person I was expected to be by others. Yet freedom can also be a very lonely place!
