Gypsy Girl was a nameless imaginary woman I invented in order to try to stop the constant PTSD-induced nightmares I was having over the traumatic death of my soulmate Skye. I felt that I could replace Skye with this other impossible beauty where I was her 'pet' hawk and companion. The second image from the same song is titled The Nightmare and can be viewed as part of this collection. Following The Nightmare image comes 'Into Your Hands' where I believed that as the now 'free' hawk, Gypsy Girl and I could work together to free the world.
