The Clearing (Communion)

This image symbolises the period when I lived alone in the rainforest and had a spiritual encounter with what might be described as a 'forest specter' or spirit being in the form of a maiden who's body was made of light, yet appeared to me almost like a floating mist of vapour within which a light seemed to glow. It became a form of 'Communion' between my spiritual self and what I perceived to be the Forest Goddess, or Mother. She was the one who somehow awakened me to still having work to do and that it is time to re-enter the world to tell others about what I had experienced.
