While Gaia Sleeps

While Gaia Sleeps is based on a period in my life when I chose to live naked in a rainforest in Australia in the belief that I was surrendering my life (following a long period of intense grief and PTSD). However, surrounded by such an abundance of life and divine beauty rendered that task impossible. Instead, I embraced the moment, along with the essence of 'The Mother' of all life as we know it and came to the profound realisation that the young man that first walked into that forest was the 'dead' self, so the forest was there to show me what life truly is and how to live it again. The man that walked back out the forest again was more alive than he had ever been before.
